Most crypto ideas never ship, because shipping takes a whole team. Modus is that team in one workspace. It starts with a chat: you say what you want to Spec, the ideation agent, and from there Modus's agents write the spec, design the screens, build the front and back end, write the docs, ship it live, and launch a token to give it an economy onchain. One idea goes in; a working company comes out.

Most builders hand you a codebase and walk away. Modus stays, because a company that's live still has to be run. So you hire: spawn AI employees, give each one a job, and hand them your accounts and tools. They already know the product, the brand, the contracts, and the token, because Modus built all of it. Community, treasury, marketing, ops, whatever the company needs, you staff it.

Built by AI, run by AI, owned by you. You make the calls, and nothing onchain moves without your say-so.

Build it, then run it

Modus has two halves:

• Build it. It starts in Chats: you think the idea through with a partner that pushes on audience, scope, and what a v1 leaves out, then turn the conversation into a project. Every project lives in a hub that runs seven chapters from spec to live dApp: PRD, Design, Code, Docs, Deck, Token Launcher, and CMS (rolling out soon), plus a Deploy action that ships it to the web.
• Run it. Once the company is live, you hire AI employees to operate it. This half is rolling out; see Hiring your crew.

The plumbing comes wired

A web3 app normally needs a pile of outside accounts: an RPC node to read the chain, an indexer, a price feed, a swap router, each with its own key. Modus skips all of that.
